OUR COMPANY HISTORY – IN BRIEF

Since 2001 the company has undergone many changes and survived a major recession to arrive at today, strong in its offerings with a committed and dedicated team poised to take Red and Gray further than we have ever been before. Building on our past successes we have consolidated relationships and will continue to work with our growth strategy while exploring our reach and impact into new sectors.

COMPANY INCEPTION

Red and Gray was started to deliver CG imagery and architectural design to developers, architects and house builders. Early business was carried out from home workstations for a time.

CHANGE IN DIRECTION

The company decided to drop architectural design and concentrate solely on CGI. The team slowly evolved to adopt this new strategy. Yearly turnover expanded and profitability increased.

BUSINESS PLAN EVOLVES

Following the recession the company diversified and focused heavily on identifying and exploring new sectors where CGI could be implemented to create real commercial benefits for new clients.

FUTURE PROGRESS

A firm foothold has been achieved in KBB industries serving many new clients. Business strategy has developed to account for bigger market share in existing sectors and research and expansion into others.

Working for over 15 years building mutually satisfying relationships with some of the most prestigious architects, advertising agencies, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom manufacturers we believe we are justified in claiming that we know what we are doing.

We are proud of the distance we have travelled and the knowledge we have gained in over a decade of CGI preparation. We have grown in confidence in those 15 years and are extremely pleased with the reputation we have developed as a quality provider of compelling, striking computer generated illustrations. Red and Gray have always shunned the approach of many UK studios in using cheap overseas modellers and artists. Instead, all of our work is produced by our talented and experienced in-house team who possess all the necessary skills and attributes needed to produce the quality of image we are recognised for.

Through a powerful mix of asking questions and listening intently we feel we have arrived at the apex of our customer service commitment to our clients. The questions we ask delve into the details the little details that matter when you are trying to interpret a brief to create powerful imagery designed to stand out and get noticed. These questions also probe into the Intent behind the images – target audience, publishing locations etc.

The listening comes later when you talk to us. We listen to your brief, all the time mentally building a picture of what you require, running through the project from start to finish so any potential problems or obstacles can be tackled immediately. The more you talk to us the more we can glean from you what you actually require from your images and the better chance we have of delivering an end product that will delight and amaze you. A client will forward our images to friends or family or to colleagues in the office boasting as to how good they are. That makes us feel special. So we aim to create that wonder and excitement every time we deliver an image.
